Bowie-Dick test is class 2 indicator designed to test steam sterilizers with a vacuum venting system. Special cycle(134°C, 3.5 minutes) should be used.
The Bowie-Dick test is a stack of sheets of special paper, packed in crepe paper. In the middle of the stack is an indicator sheet with a figure drawn in light yellow chemical ink. The indicator should change colour uniformly after the sterilization cycle.
