The DGM Steriguard® biological indicator is designed to monitor the efficiency of the steam sterilization process of medical devices carried out under the corresponding regimes in steam sterilizers.

The indicator is a plastic tube with a glass ampoule with a blue-violet nutrient medium and dried spores of Bacillus Stearothermophilus bacteria with a concentration of 105. The uniqueness of biological indicators is that they determine not only compliance with technical standards of sterilization cycle, but also the actual fact of the death of bacterial spores
inside the sterilizer.

The indicator meets the requirements for biological indicators according to GOST R ISO 11138-3-2000.
