Different sizes of reels are available. The reels are used for packing of instruments for sterilization. Before packing of instruments reels are cut into pouches . The type of reel is selected in accordance with the dimensions of instrument prepared for sterilization.

A thermoseal machine is required to seal the pouches. Both types of reels are made of tear-resistant multilayer transparent laminated film (a combination of polyester and polypropylene) and medical paper.

Markings are on the edge of the reel around the thermal seal in Russian and English. This positioning prevents the ink seeping through the paper into the pouch. The high quality of the seal joints can be seen visually. The materials used in the production of reels comply with the international standards EN 868-1&5, ISO-11607.
